Industries such as electronics, semiconductors, and LCD displays often require extremely pure ultrapure water during production. If the water quality does not meet the requirements of the production process or is unstable, it will affect the treatment effect and lifespan of subsequent processes. Therefore, water quality is extremely important. Ultrapure water systems are highly effective in purifying water and are the preferred water treatment equipment for many companies.

 

Ultrapure water systems generally include a pretreatment system, a reverse osmosis unit, a post-treatment system, a cleaning system, and an electrical control system.

The pretreatment system typically includes a raw water pump, a dosing device, a quartz sand filter, an activated carbon filter, and a precision filter. Its main function is to reduce the pollution index and residual chlorine and other impurities in the raw water to meet the feed water requirements for reverse osmosis. The configuration of the pretreatment system should be determined based on the specific conditions of the raw water.

 

The reverse osmosis unit mainly consists of a multi-stage high-pressure pump, reverse osmosis membrane elements, a membrane housing (pressure vessel), and a support structure. Its main function is to remove impurities from the water, ensuring that the product water quality meets usage requirements.

 

The post-treatment system is added when reverse osmosis (RO) cannot meet the effluent requirements. It mainly includes one or more of the following devices: anion exchange bed, cation exchange bed, mixed bed, sterilization, ultrafiltration, and EDI. The post-treatment system can further improve the quality of the RO effluent to meet usage requirements.

 

The cleaning system mainly consists of a cleaning water tank, cleaning water pump, and precision filter. When the RO system becomes contaminated and the effluent indicators do not meet the requirements, it needs to be cleaned to restore its effectiveness.

 

The electrical control system is used to control the normal operation of the entire reverse osmosis system. It includes instrument panels, control panels, various electrical protection devices, and electrical control cabinets.
